In September of 2019, our annual Golf Tournament had a new theme, SU! Go Orange! It was quite entertaining to see everybody proudly wearing their SU shirts. Even better, the SU Mascot who is known as Otto the Orange popped in and rooted at every golfer around the entire course. We had quite good laughs and memories at the golf tournament event. We are looking forward to the new theme for the Golf Tournament next year!
This week, we had our first Baby and Toddler Sign Language Class! It went well as they expected it to be. Everybody had a good time learning ASL with their children and babies. WHOLE ME, Inc. is so excited to offer more lessons in the future! Check out these pictures for the first day!
This year, our Golf Tournament was so super pleasure! We had a new venue, Green Lakes Golf Course, and it was so breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL! The golfers enjoyed the good weather and the new course! They spent endless of time playing golf with the other people all day. We had delicious food, raffles and a lot of good memories!
On May 18, 2018 we celebrated our Interpreters again at our Interpreter Appreciation event. This year's theme was Terp Heroes because we believe our interpreters are HERO's for all the amazing work they do. It was a great event with pampering all around! We had massages, a consultant to do "colors", Mary Kay, and Young Living representatives here. The food was delicious and the company was great!
Thank you to our interpreters on Appreciation Day and EVERY day for all you do!

On June 5th we gathered with students, families, staff, and teachers at Lakeland Park for a fun and delcious BBQ! The weather was a little chilly, but there was no rain!
It was awesome to see everyone, including families, in one place and celebrate another great year of our program. We served up Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, watermelon, chips and cookies, along with a ton of fun and games! We will miss seeing these kids every week and are looking forward to next year!
The WHOLE ME, Inc. office became a very busy and active place this summer with the return of our Summer Internship Program. WMI collaborates with CNY Works to provide a six week summer internship program to explore post secondary educational options, including job readiness skills. We had a Teacher of the the Deaf as well as two interpreting interns here guiding our 6 interns.
The interns heard from several speakers, including Deaf professionals, on a variety of topics like self advocacy and how to obtain your goals - both educationally and professionally.
We also provided many work (volunteer) opportunities throughout Central New York to give our interns a taste of what work is like, to let them see opportunites that...

Our golfers enjoyed beautiful views on the course and a lot of fun games, raffles, silent auction, food, and of course wonderful company all around!
The tournament was a success in raising money to support our programs!
Thank you to all our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers for making this another great day!
